New Coach Appointed

Featherstone Rovers wish to confirm the appointment of Danny Evans as Head Coach and Dave Downes as Assistant Coach, until the end of this season. Jon Sharp has accepted a voluntary advisory role at the club to mentor and support Danny and Dave until the end of the season.

Jon Sharp said “I was asked by Rovers to offer my support and advice to Danny and Dave in their new roles. I have some very fond memories of my time as a player and young coach at Featherstone and as Danny and Dave have also been friends for many years I was very happy to accept Rovers invitation ”.

Chief Executive, Andy Prout added “we are delighted that Jon has accepted our invitation to work with Danny and Dave and I am sure that both they and the club will benefit from Jon's input”.
